ACCESS BQC19
materials

Access to high-quality biological material and data from patients infected and not infected with SARS-CoV-2 is crucial to better understand the determinants of COVID-19. Given that samples are a valuable and limited resource, requests for access will be rigorously evaluated to optimize their use and ensure that the proposed analyses are justified and have a significant impact on research.

The BQC19 adheres to the principles of the Wellcome Foundation Declaration (March 2020) on sharing data and findings related to COVID-19, “Sharing research data and findings relevant to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak,” available at: https://wellcome.ac.uk/press-release/sharing-research-data-and-findings-relevant-novel-coronavirus-covid-19-outbreak. Recognizing the urgency of this global health crisis, BQC19 is committed to sharing research results quickly and openly to support the public health response and help save lives.

Researchers with access to BQC19 data and samples will be required to provide a copy of their derived data, which will become part of the BQC19 resources and will be accessible to other researchers, thereby enriching the database for collaborative research.

Access to biological material and/or data from the BQC19 follows a three-step process
